Originally, I was planning to reblend the Pineapple Whip (yet again) but I realized it wasn’t really that long ago since the last time I reblended it. I had blended it originally in June 2023 & then blended it again for the holiday box that year. So, I thought, how about making a Pineapple Whip but with a twist? A creamy, luscious twist – with coconut!
The blend starts with a base of Chinese Sencha – smooth, somewhat buttery & sweet – to which I added lots of coconut & pineapple, plus some vanilla bean to give it that “whip” like note.
And WOW! This is tasty! The coconut is indeed creamy & luscious, it adds a pleasant smooth sweetness to the cup that it evokes thoughts of sorbet. (In fact, a pineapple coconut sorbet would be quite yummy, wouldn’t it?) This blend is so delightfully tropical that it will send your taste buds on a vacay!
It’s also organic, vegan, gluten-free & all natural! It DOES have coconut in it. So for those of you who are coconut sensitive, be aware.
organic ingredients: green tea, pineapple, coconut, vanilla bean & natural flavors
to brew: shake pouch before measuring to ensure that all the ingredients are well-incorporated. Use 3g of tea to 12oz of fresh water heated to 175°F, steep for 2 minutes & strain. Enjoy!
serving suggestion: I like this hot or cold, but I gotta tell you – it’s absolutely fabulous as a cold-brew! Highly recommend!
It tastes great without sweetener, but if you want a “sweeter” dessert vibe from this, a teensy bit of sugar will bring that out for you, making the flavors pop!
